Research and Collections

The Madison Historical Society is dedicated to its mission of collecting and preserving the history and heritage of Madison for present and future generations. Among the most prized collections of the Society are its eighteenth-century furniture, its domestic and maritime tools and implements, and its costumes. In addition to those are a large collection of photographs and documents from three hundred years of town history.

The collection is accessible through our permanent and changing exhibitions, special programs, and by appointment.

Please call us at 203.245.4567 to arrange a visit or to make an appointment with our Collections Chair.
